Elsa Majimbo has mastered the art of entertainment; she knows what makes you laugh and when you want to hear it. She is so good at message delivery.
Elsa’s five key lessons are not new to us. These are points that have been tested over the years by men and women who have been able to record success in different fields.
We love to see the glory, but we intentionally fail to recognize the work, time, and effort that has been put in to deliver the desired results.
I decided to study to understand what Elsa Majimbo does differently from the rest of us; whether you are in the entertainment business like music or comedy or selling goods and services, I believe we can better our best.
Here are the five key lessons to learn from Elsa Majimbo.
Lesson 1: Consistency.
Steve did not just spot her in the crowd. Her level of consistency positioned her to a place where she could not be ignored, not even by the American Reality star Steve Harvey.
It was probably not the first time that Steve Harvey saw her. He must have watched several of her videos before he decided to ask, who is this girl?
Be consistent in your work, give it your very best, and you will undoubtedly succeed at it. Someone somewhere will take you under their ‘wings’ and provide you with the opportunity just like the one Steve Harvey gave to Elsa Majimbo.
Lesson 2: Hard work.
Napoleon Hill said, “There is no such thing as something for nothing.” You must put something in before expecting to get something out.
Genesis 8:22 reads, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
There is a season for planting and another for harvesting, but we often want to reap where we did not sow.
Majimbo has proven that you can achieve anything if you are committed and willing to work for it.
So, you must work.
Lesson 3: Love what you do.
Someone said, ” Doing what you love is freedom, but loving what you do is happiness.”
Those who have watched her funny online videos will tell you that, Majimbo is one person who enjoys what she does.
Loving what you do will open you to better and more excellent opportunities.
A hunter who loves to hunt will never return home to his family empty-handed.
Lesson 4: Self Belief.
Majimbo’s advice to the young people is, “believe in yourself and in what you do, even if people close to you don’t.”
Maya Angelo said, “you alone are enough, you have nothing to prove to anybody.”
Believe in yourself, and you will achieve the unthinkable.
Believe in yourself first.
Lesson 5: Discipline.
What is your definition of discipline? Ask yourself this question.
You can do whatever you want to do with your life, but to succeed at anything, you must have the discipline to do what is needed.
To rise to the top, you must learn the art of making sacrifices; nothing comes easy.
