Deputy President William Ruto has reached out to Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford-Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula for talks on a pre-election coalition agreement ahead of the August 2022 polls.

 The rumors were confirmed yesterday, the 2nd of January 2022, by United Democratic Alliance (UDA) secretary-general Veronica Maina. She told the Daily Nation that they had already invited Mr. Mudavadi and Mr. Wetang’ula for coalition talks. 

She said UDA, headed by its party leader DP Ruto was awaiting a response from the two Western leaders.

ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has maintained that he will not settle for less come 2022, insisting that he will be on the ballot as a presidential candidate come 2022.

He believes that he is the best choice for Kenyans.

Mudavadi, who was expected to be the chief guest at Malala’s Super Cup, missed the events under unclear circumstances.

Malala’s Super Cup was attended by DP Ruto in what is believed to have triggered the conversation for the talks.

DP Ruto grabbed the opportunity and sold his bottom-up economic model to the Mulembe nation.
