Kenyans React to Governor Ngilu’s ‘This is Not Yet Your Time’ Message to Kalonzo Over 2022 Presidential Race.

Governor Ngilu’s message to the 2022 presidential hopeful Kalonzo Musyoka, dubbed ‘This is not yet your time,’ has sparked a social media reaction.

Governor Ngilu told the One Kenya Alliance principal Kalonzo Musyoka to wait for the right time, claiming he wasn’t ripe for the 2022 presidential contest.

According to Governor Ngilu, the former Vice President has no political muscle to command a following and votes to guarantee him a win.

A section of Kenyans online now wants Governor Nguli to let Kalonzo fight to the end if he believes he can get the presidency.

On the other hand, pressure is pulling on Kalonzo to support the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the top seat.

The Wiper leader has reiterated that he will be on the ballot come 2022.

The five One Kenya Alliance Principals are yet to pick a flag bearer. Still, pressure is already pilling, with a section of ANC leaders threatening to quit OKA if Mudavadi is not picked as the flag bearer.

Social media users seem to understand the voting patterns in Kenya better than most politicians.

Ngilu said, “My brother Kalonzo do not be deceived by selfish leaders who want to ride on your political capital to secure elective seats and leave you out in the cold as the next government is formed,” warned Ngilu, who is rooting for ODM chief Raila Odinga.

“I know the majority of Ukambani leaders disagree with me that time is not yet ripe for our son Kalonzo to be Kenya’s presidency but I choose to be honest with him,” she added.

The Wiper Party leader has dismissed Ngilu’s sentiments, saying the county boss lacks faith in his presidential bid.

Kalonzo responded, “I won’t be cowed into submission. It is my time and I have the faith. All I ask for is your support because we are strong united.”

Social media users are now saying that Kalonzo cannit clinch the top seat without the backing of the ODM chief.

He has supported Raila Odinga in the past two General Elections, and he insists that it would be fair if the ODM leader reciprocated.

He has called on the people of Ukambani to remain united and to support his presidential bid.

Kalonzo said, “We must be ready to take the leadership of this country. Viongozi wenzangu wa Kitui County because this is home, Jameni tusiaibishane.”
