Some call it the Luo Festival or the mighty Luo Festival, while others refer to it as the International Luo Festival. Well, the long-awaited Luo Festival will hold this coming Saturday, 27th, at the Ngong Racecourse Grounds.
For those who may be missing something, the Luo Festival is the celebration of Luo Culture, A culture of Class, Trendsetters, Pace Setters, and the Learned. Live Once, Live Well.
According To Kiss FM presenter and the incoming Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, Nairobi and neighboring counties will experience what it has never experienced this Saturday.

Jalang’o noted, “We’re shutting down Nairobi with no apologies whatsoever!!! All roads lead to Ngong Racecourse.”
Earlier last week, Jalang’o held a press conference with the Kenya Online Team to give the full brief on the planning of the Luo Festival and confirmed the following.
Jalang’o noted, “Today I held a press conference with Kenya Online team to give out the full brief of the LUO FESTIVAL.”
“There were concerns with security at Ngong Racecourse, but we are assuring every reveler of their security because of the heavy deployment of security at the venue!
We have sealed every loophole that the previous organizers ignored. He noted that security checks to start from the first turn on Ngong road and not at the gate,” he noted.
He also trashed claims going around about the previous tickets. He confirmed that “All tickets from the previous cancelled event are valid! Come with them.”
“All tickets are VIP TICKETS! Remember that the previous event was a drive in event and now with the opening of the country we could not come back to people to add more money for VVIP. We have the decided to give everyone a VIP treatment,” he added.
For those who would like to carry food from home, it’s a no, “No food or drinks from outside will be accepted! There is enough at the concert!!”
On the entertainment part, Jalang’o confirmed that all artists were ready and set for Saturday, including Akothee.
