Citizen TV’s Trevor Ombija Joins Ramogi TV. VIDEO.

Kenyans online were excited when Royal Media Services announced that Citizen TV’s Trevor Ombija would be joining the new vernacular station Ramogi TV.

Royal Media Services launched the station, which will be broadcasting in Luo.

“In the luo nation and Kenya as a whole, we mark a new dawn. From the Royal Media services we bring you the latest news through reporting from our journalists,” the broadcaster stated.

Trevor was among the selected few, and it is not clear whether he would hand over his duties to someone else at Citizen TV.

But he will most likely work for the two stations, the same way Jeff Kionange has done over the years, working at Hot 96 FM and Citizen TV.

He brings years of experience, something that the Royal Media Management believes will be an added advantage to the station.

Trevor Ombija is one of the best news anchors in Kenya.

In a promotional video seen by, the lineup for Ramogi TV presenters include Sharon Ong’ao, Cleophas Oluoch, Joyce Oduor, George Bati, Lydia Okeo, Ochieng Emmanuel, Syprose Okinda and Jael Lieta, and Trevor Ombija.

Kenyans are so much interested and waiting to see Trevor Ombija.

During the launch of Ramogi TV, Managing Director Wachira Waruru stated, “Having pioneered vernacular radio broadcasting, we are keen to continue providing unrivalled and quality broadcast content to Kenyans in their first languages.”
