KBC Hires Identical Twins As Swahili News Anchors.

| |

KBC has hired Identical Twins as news anchors for the “Dira ya Magwiji” bulletin, which airs every Saturday at 7 pm.

The twins, identified as Jamila Mbugua and Wanjiru Mbugua, joined the Swahili news anchors team.

It will go in history books that KBC becomes the first media house in Africa to recruit Twins as news anchors.

Surprisingly, this is not the first time a Kenyan media house has created a happy moment for family members.

Citizen TV pulled a first in Kenyan media when the station employed a couple as news anchors.

Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla have enjoyed working as a steam for the longest time.

The two, Jamila and Wanjiru Mbugua, have replaced the late Badi Muhsin, who passed away in October 2021.

Jamila is a former property show host at NTV, while Jane worked as a communication and marketing consultant for Diamond media.

You must have seen Wanjiru Mbugua at the KBC business table between 2006 and 2008. She is formally KBC business news anchors.
