Self-declared president of comedy Africa has landed himself on the wrong side of the law, after trying to access the parliament building forcefully.
For the past two weeks or so, Eric has been calling on artists to up their game and refuse to be curtain-raisers in their land.
According to the video clip shared by spmbuzzke is seen trying to resist arrest by the police.

According to spmbuzzke, “Eric Omondi “has been Arrested over this is Kenya Protest at the Parliament Building & his currently detained at Central Police Station Nairobi.”
Before his arrest, he planned to petition members of parliament to legislate over the playtime for Kenyan music on local stations.
Eric has been trending on social media platforms over claims that Kenyan artists are not given equal opportunities as their foreign counterparts.
Eric is demanding better opportunities for the artist, and he wants local stations to play at least 75 percent of local content.

According to the funnyman, countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe play more local content on their stations.
Omondi believes that the entertainment industry is headed in the wrong direction in Kenya, leading to his actions.
He believes he can change things before they get worse.
Before his lone walk, Eric had tried to call on other artists to join him, but after the insults, no one wanted to be a party to his ‘madness.’
