On Sunday 14, November, President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Ethiopia for a state visit, and he was received at the airport by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Ali confirmed the arrival of President Uhuru Kenyatta in a statement posted on Twitter.

He said, “I welcome my dear brother President Uhuru Kenyatta to his second home.”

Presidents Kenyatta’s visit comes less than a month after he pleaded with the country’s top leadership to find a way of stopping the fight that has led to the death and displacement of thousands of people across Ethiopia.
Uhuru’s visit to Ethiopia comes when the Ethiopian government is dealing with armed conflict, which has raged the country since November 2020.
Last week, Ethiopia declared a state of emergency as Tigrayan forces pushed south towards the capital Addis Ababa.
