Xavi Hernandez has been unveiled as Barcelona’s new head coach following the sacking of Ronald Koeman, who served as the team’s head coach for only 14 months.

Xavi Hernandez received a warm welcome from the thousands of fans who were happy to have him back at Camp Nou.
Xavi Hernandez was one of the best players that Barcelona still wishes for, and that is one of the reasons why the team’s management had to bring back the former midfielder, this time around not as a player but as the head coach.
Along with his family and Barca’s President Joan Laporta, Xavi signed the contract, putting him in charge as Barcas head coach.

In his speech, Xavi said, “I don’t want to get too emotional so I will just tell you one thing — we are the best club in the world.”
“And we will work to the highest standards to have success. We cannot accept defeats or draws, we have to win every game,” the former midfielder added.
On the other hand, Barca’s President Joan Laporta said that history had been made.
He said, “Today will be an historic day for Barcelona.”
History had been made because it will be remembered that Xavi’s the first coach to be presented on the pitch to over 10,000 Barcelona fans.

The return of Xavi Hernandez at Barca has brought joy to the team that has struggled to win matches in recent days.
At Barcelona, Xavi won four Champions League titles, Eight La Liga Titles, Two European Championships with Spain, and THE World Cup.
