Raila Odinga’s political strongholds have recorded a high number of newly registered voters exercise began about three weeks ago.

Counties in Nyanza leading are leading, with Migori County taking the lead with 4778 newly registered voters.

The former Prime Minister’s perceived strongholds that recorded good numbers include Western, Coast, North Eastern, and Nairobi.

In western, Vihiga County leads with 2184 newly registered voters.

Ruto’s stronghold and backyard, Rift valley, has not performed well.

Bomet County is leading with 3476 newly registered voters, while Uasin Gishu recorded 681 voters.

Other regions that recorded the least number of voter transfers include the Central, Northern, and Eastern regions.

DP Ruto’s other perceived strongholds that recorded regions with the least newly registered voters include Central Kenya and Eastern and Northern counties.
