The government of Kenya has announced the resumption of night travel; this comes days after President Uhuru Kenyatta lifted the night curfew.
In a statement released on Friday by the Transport Cabinet Secretary Mr James Macharia, Public Service Vehicles (PSV) operators are free to resume night services.
The night travels were suspended over a year ago to tame the spread of the COVID -19 pandemic.

The Cabinet Secretary affirmed that all COVID-19 measures outlined by the Ministry of Health must be adhered to.
Transport Cabinet Secretary Mr James Macharia said, “We are encouraging members of the transport sector to embrace COVD-19 vaccination in line with the industry.
I thank the leadership and the workers in the transport sector for their continued support of the government efforts in fighting the virus.
