Life is an exciting journey, and in this journey, you have to pay the price before enjoying the benefits. Jalang’o said, “If you ask for growth, get ready to face the challenges that come with it.
Those who succeed are those who do not give up no matter the challenges. The good book reads, “To whom much is given, much is required.”
The more you ask for, the more you will be required to give. If you desire to master a business, you must be ready and willing to give it your best, no matter how challenging.
Take some time off from your daily work; it could be on the weekend. Go into a silent room and ask yourself this question.
What do I want out of life?
Why do I desire growth?
Why do I wake up every day to go to work or to do what I do?
What skills do I need to better my life?
Who do I need as a mentor to guide me?
How much time do I need to achieve my goal?
Then in your own words, write the answers to each of the questions on a piece of paper and keep it where you can see it every morning.
Make sure you place it where you can see and read it each morning to remind you of who you are and where you are going.
Reading this every day will give you the drive to work on your dreams with enthusiasm.
As you set those big goals, get ready to face some of the most complex challenges and to meet the worst opposition from those closest to you.
Set your mind on the goal and do not give up no matter how hard it becomes, because it is you who asked for growth, so don’t be surprised when things become challenging.
Keep asking yourself. What do I want to become? This may seem very tricky and challenging to answer, but remember, what you want to become is to bring change into your life and to the lives of those around you.
One other important part is to ensure you have a well-balanced work-life, work when it is time to work and play or be with your family or friends at the right time.
Very important, plan your day, and see yourself accomplishing your dreams each day.
“Remember to call those things that are not as though they were.”
Remember, you asked for growth, be ready to face the reality that comes with it.
