Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga celebrates his 76th birthday today, Mr. Odinga was born in January 7, 1945.
He is the son of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the first vice president of independent Kenya.
Raila Odinga served as the Prime Minister of Kenya from 2008 to 2013.
He became prime minister under a power-sharing deal to end the 2007 – 2008 post-election violence.
He has been the leader of the opposition for the longest time.

His struggle for multiparty saw him detained twice, from 1982 to 1988 and 1989 to 1991.
