Dr. Alfred Mutua while in Kilifi County hinted that he was open and ready to work with the ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Dr. Mutua now becomes the latest governor to express his interest in walking with Raila to ensure a united Kenya ahead of the 2022 general elections.

“Azimio La Umoja” is a big plan that many Kenyans, just like Dr. Alfred Mutua, believe will bring lasting peace among Kenyans.
Other governors who are already working with the ODM leader include Lee Kinyanjui of Nakuru, Charity Ngilu of Kitui, Meru’s Kiraitu Murungi, Muthomi Njuki (Tharaka Nithi), Martin Wambora (Embu), Francis Kimemia (Nyandarua), Nderitu Muriithi (Laikipia). The list is endless.

Below is Dr. Alfred Mutuas’s post.
“I have today joined Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga during his unity rallies in Kilifi county, starting with Malindi town.
The story of Kilifi county is that of Kenya – promises that have never been met since independence. That is why it is crucial to change tact and elect leaders with a track record.
Growing up, I was told that a baby snake is as poisonous as a grown snake. A snake is a snake. In the same way, a thief at a lower office will be a huge thief at a bigger office.
As Kenyans, we need to reflect and vote wisely. We need more leaders who are really concerned about the welfare of Kenyans.
We also need creative and energetic leaders who are able to work in a “Chap Chap” manner so that our youth can get jobs and our mothers and fathers have more money in their pocket for a better quality of life.
I appreciate and applaud Hon. Raila Odinga for this push for peace and unity in Kenya. As a political party leader, I fully support the quest for unity to protect our country, especially as we head to the election period and as we strive to develop it for future generations. God bless Kenya.”
